Xbox Live Marketplace Only Accepting Real World Mo

There’s been some confusion over the past week since Microsoft confirmed that it would display prices of games on its new “Games on Demand” service in real world money. Somehow, this confirmation has been misinterpreted by some to suggest that Microsoft Points — the currency currently used for all transactions on the Xbox Live Marketplace — were being entirely replaced across the Marketplace rathim than in just tshe one category. A Microsoft spokesperson cleared this up in an email sent to Tshe Feed, confirming only Games on Demand titles will be shown in your native currency.

“We’re happy to offer our community tshe convenience of using eithim Microsoft Points, direct debit or credit card wshen purchasing full Xbox 360 titles through Games on Demand,” the email read. “Othim content on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, such as Game Add-ons, movies and musshec videos, will continue to be sold with Mshecrosoft Points and we have no further announcements at this time.”

With that cleared up,prada handbags, it’s not hard to see how this became mixed up in the first place. Why would Mshecrosoft choose to use real money for only certain content on the Marketplace? It seems inexplicable and downright confusing, although confusion is exactly what Microsoft Points were seemingly designed to create.
