Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2010 Entrance Exam for Engineering
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination is conducted in eight zone of country. GATE exam is administrated by committee comprising of all IITs and IIS Banglore on behalf of the National Coordinating Board – GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a benchmark exam to test the ability of candidates to pursue the master degree in Engineering. GATE is conducted to find out the best engineering aspirant to get the admission in the best institute of country.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2010
Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.
Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.
Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master’s degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AME by ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
Selection Process for GATE 2010
GATE committee declare a cut off list. On the basis of merit candidates are called upon for counseling. On the basis of Group Discussion, Interview seats are allotted to candidates in institutes.

Application Process for Gate 2010
The Application form and Information Prospectuses for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can be Obtained By cash payment Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PD) From Designated Bank Branches, Zone of GATE Admission Office. The Application form also can be downloaded from the Website and Submit the Complete fill-up application from along with all required document and DD to the address given in last.
Gate Score Card / Gate Results
The candidates gets the GATE score card by post at their address. We will update the Gate result as declared.
Pattern of GATE 2010 Exam Paper
The test of GATE is of 3 hours consisting of 60 question of maximum of 100 marks. All question will be objective type and there will be negative marking for wrong answers.
